It is official; autumn has officially fallen on Chicago. Just as the first day of sunshine induces shorts, flip-flops and t-shirts in the spring, the people of Chicago have donned their fall attire starting this Labor Day weekend. Hot and fresh from the pages of Vogue and Marie Claire, women all over from Michigan Ave. to North Ave. have relished the opportunity to introduce their new wears. Trousers came in our Chicago favorite color palette of steel grey and black, however some citizens have surprised us with maintaining summers obsession with colored denim in ruby red and amethyst purple. Adorning the fashionista's feet were this season’s hottest knee-high boot or the ever trend worth bootie. Although still too warm, military inspired jackets, as well as supple leather bombers were seen peeking out of the racks of Nordstroms, Macys, and Bloomingdales this weekend teasing us with their warmth.
